ZOLID Architects is a design studio founded by Clinton Thomas in Kechery, Thrissur, with a vision to blend art, architecture, and design into meaningful spaces that inspire. With over 10 years of experience, the firm has evolved into a creative platform known for delivering distinctive, context-sensitive architecture that treats every project as a work of art.

ZOLID was established with the belief that architecture should be more than just built form — it should evoke emotion, respond to its environment, and reflect the people who experience it. From residential homes to public institutions, every project at ZOLID is approached as a unique opportunity to craft thoughtful, timeless, and expressive design.

At the heart of ZOLID Architects is Clinton Thomas, the Principal Architect and creative force behind the practice. A graduate of Amrita School of Architecture, Clinton received the Best Thesis Award for his exceptional academic work. His early exposure under Brijesh Shaijal at DAC, a practice known for its versatile and user-focused design approach, helped shape his philosophy of contextual, human-centric architecture.

Growing up in an artistic family — with a father who is a visual artist and two sisters who are drawing teachers — Clinton’s creative journey began early. He was awarded the State First Prize in clay modeling during school, and his passion for sculpture continues to influence his architectural vision. In 2024, he was recognized with the Best Innovative and Futuristic Architect – India Design Award, celebrating his dedication to design excellence.

Clinton also actively mentors aspiring architects through workshops and lectures, nurturing the next generation of design thinkers. Under his leadership, ZOLID Architects continues to deliver architecture that is not only functional and sustainable, but deeply artistic and emotionally resonant
